Mexican Dip

Courtesy of my Father in Law from a gathering that he attended, he passed on the recipe for me to try and it was pretty good, so I thought I would share with everyone :)

Mexican Dip
  • 1-Packet Taco Seasoning
  • 1-Large can Refried Beans
  • Sour Cream
  • 1-can Green Chilies(or 2 small cans)
  • 1-bottle Southwest Ranch salad dressing
  • 1-medium onion
  • 1-bottle Creamy Garlic salad dressing
  • 4-Plum or 2 medium sized tomatoes 
  • Pace Salsa
  • Grated Cheese

Mix packet of Taco Seasoning with a large can of Refried Beans. Spread this mixture on a serving plate. Cover bean mixture with a layer of sour cream. Scatter a large can of chopped, drained green chilies as next layer. Apply a layer of Southwest Ranch salad dressing. Chop a medium onion finely and apply as the next layer. Apply a layer of Creamy Garlic salad dressing over the onions. Dice 4 plum tomatoes and scatter as next layer. Use the Pace (hot) thick salsa as the next layer over the tomatoes. Spread the grated cheese over the top as last layer. Cover with clear wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours. Serve with tortilla chips or crackers of your choice.
